None of us are born fantastic public speakers. In fact I remember when I was asked to give a speech at a wedding. It was a disaster!!
It was rambling, I lost my place, I was perspiring profusely and just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me there and then. That was an eye opening experience.
I was determined to learn the techniques to become a really great public speaker. Remember public speaking is an art and not a science, and it can be learned! I studied the techniques to become a great public speaker and also developed my own very special public speaking tips and techniques. Since then I qualified as a chartered accountant and lectured on international tax both in the UK and USA.
I have frequently appeared as a guest on television and radio and also had my own radio show. I have also written several books and undertaken many after-dinner speaking engagements as well as giving presentations to UK law firms.
During this time I have not only built upon the techniques that I learned all those years ago but have developed my own very special techniques and tips to teach you to become a great public speaker.
